I specialize in off-leash group walks to maximize your rare beast's fun, exercise, mental stimulation, and socialization so that you come home to a tired, contented pup at the end of your busy day. My group walks run for one full hour of playing, ball chasing, and hiking, mostly at Bernal Park. If your doggie's recall is a little shaky, not to fear - I bring dogs in my pack along slowly, using positive techniques to help them build their recall. Off-leash socializing isn't suitable for every dog - I conduct a thorough pre-screening interview with each prospective rare beast to make sure that the experience I offer meets their needs.
Group size and composition:
My favorite group size? Six, plus or minus. I feel that a group of five to seven dogs allows plenty of opportunities for play and socialization, while still being small enough so that I can give each of the rare beasts in my care plenty of loving, individualized attention. I also give careful consideration to the composition of my packs to make sure that doggies' sizes, temperaments, and play styles are compatible, so that everyone stays safe and has a blast during their time with me. During the pre-screening interview, we'll discuss your doggie's temperament and which of my groups might be most suitable for him.
Schedule and rates:
I've found that consistency is the key to success in dogwalking - the better-accustomed my rare beasts are to the walking routine and to each other, the easier it is for me to keep their experience at the park safe and fun. I ask for a commitment of at least three days per week from prospective rare beasts to maximize the consistency of my packs.
Group walk rates:
- $21/walk full-time (5 days per week)
- $23/walk part time (3-4 days per week)
